Welcome KJUGgers

Howdy to you from me. I am all a buzz after being to the Joomla Day in Sydney yesterday so look out!

I would like to get our first meeting up and running asap, so how about our first meeting being the Saturday morning, 30 May at the Kiama Library at 11.30am.

  1. I’d even give up a Scrabble tournament in Woy Woy to attend this inaugural meeting Tim. As for ongoing meeting dates, Saturdays are often no good for me at a frequence of 1 in 3. Monday nights are also taken up.

  2. Tim, you may correct my spelling mistake to FREQUENCY thanks !

  3. Re our discussion this week Tim. I can make a Saturday 31st May meeting. Cheers – Sandra G.

  4. I’m probably not adding this to the correct ‘tag’ (apologies). However, just wanted to say many thanks to all for the great meeting – and ’specially to Tim for organising/convening/munchies. I’m not particularly looking to develop a website as a business. However, I’m committed (on a voluntary basis) to ensuring community access to Horne’s three cultural rights of a democracy – (paraphrased) ”the right to innovate, the right to heritage and the right to participate – with government playing an enabling role”. This, I have interpreted to be my key function as a journalistic writer. Therefore, as a resident of Kiama I need to understand the underpinnings of Joomla websites. I’m also (which I shall very likely deeply regret!) prepared to take on the first secretarial stint – but I warn you – as a big picture person – my minutes leave a lot to be desired!!! Cheers.
