I very pleased to announce a new member to our group. Helen, from Gerringong is interested in using Joomla. She is a website maintenance officer for a local business and she has interests in learning Joomla. Welcome aboard Helen. I hope to see you at our next meeting.
Like all of you, she is to confront XAMPP installation, but with a bit of help, she will get over the initial “hump” and with a bit of help from the xamppers, will be brought up tp speed to where we are up to in using the CMS Joomla.
Pleased to see new member – Hi Helen – hope we see you on 30th. RE XAMPP installation – its probably worth searching around looking for several formats of instructions re XAMPP. Glocklee found a good video – but I also liked some of the printout formats as well. Naturally Tim got us all setup fine eventually – but I also found it useful (after the event – when it wasn’t so useful!) and would have been more help to Tim had I checked out various information sources first.

Am so unskilled it has taken me till now to get a wordpress ID but I (Think?) I have XXAMP installed(?)
As yet it makes no sense to me at all (I hope that’s normal?) and am looking forward to ‘enlightnment’!
Just 2 questions… What time do we meet this Saturday, and is it at Gerringong Library?
