Last week I took the opportunity to register our KJUG with Joomla as an official Joomla group. Well I just received an email from the President of Open Source Matters, the main body for Joomla, and we are now on the list. I am all-a-buzz. If you look on the list you will see that most of the entries are country or large city groups. We are the first, as far as I can see, to be a small town! How’s that, another first for Kiama!!
Anyway, bathe in the glory, we are now officially part of the World of Joomla!
Hi
I have just found you via the Joomla community site. So nice to hear about your group!
Just to say that I run the Sydney group and also the joomladay.org.au Aussie site. I have publicised your group and next meeting there – hope that’s OK! I have found that it’s really really hard to reach people and let them know that there is a group – we’re just now getting to know some new people after running for 18 months!
Anyway, it would be lovely to hear from you and good luck with your group. If you’d like to post on the joomladay.org.au site, you’d be most welcome.

Thanks very much to Amy and Dex for commenting on our blog. Makes us feel like we really are members of the Joomla community. It is most exciting!
