KJUG Meeting Minutes for 28 June 2008

Not much to report this meeting

Took sometime to get users to have joomla operational, but after getting Sandra and Tracy going, and Graeme agreed to watch, yes we were having a Joomla user group meeting!!

  • Went through global settings
  • Stared to look at Menus
  • Installed a template and played around with it.

Election of office holders for 12 months

  • Treasurer – monies for tea/coffee, milk, munchies (remote hosting around $100-120 per annum)? – $5 per meeting – Position TBA

Website

  • An idea – buy host space on Joomla friendly host for JKUGgers to have their own sub domains to play with.
  • Cheaper for all concerned
  • Investigate to see if it will work
