Hope this is OK to add a new category Tim? (and hope I’ve done it properly!) How is everyone going with their installation/development? Perhaps its just my temperament/learning style – but I’m finding it easier to get to understand it by deconstructing the sample data. Does that make any sense? I realise the sample data supplies all the info in it – but I’ve ordered the books and I think that info is available under HELP anyway and on the Joomla site. Anyway – main thing is I’m having fun and exercising the old gray matter (and that’s not just my hair!!!)

Love the Screenhunter! My laptop has Vista Premium – took me the best part of a morning to figure out why my desktop wouldn’t screen capture. After much net trawling – realised my desktop is Vista Home Basic – NO screen capture Had downloaded a commercial program which was doing the job – but would have been at considerable purchasing expense (other option – upgrade H/B to P) However, tried ScreenHunter – LOVE IT! Thanks!

As we are always pressed for time at the end of the meeting, of course, I forgot to organise the next one. Does anyone have any issues with same bat time, same bat place but on Sat, 26 July? If this is an issue, please post your suggestions and we’ll see what everyone is happy with.

Thanks to those attended the last meeting we had. Although we struggled a bit to get everyone’s Joomla working, at least we got into the nuts and bolts of the machine and we can build on that next time. As the agenda was not completed, we will keep that agenda for the next meeting.

Sorry all, not going to make it again this weekend, am finding the Saturday afternoon a little difficult with kids sport, am in Batesman Bay for footy this week.  Hoping I can sort something out for future meeting.

Just checking to see who has Joomla installed so far and who hasn’t. It would be good if this can be managed by the next meeting. If, however, there are still installation issues, let’s resolve them before the meeting. So who has and hasn’t gotta a handle on the latest Joomla as yet?
